We thank you for your sensitivity and support. As of April 7, 2016, with the enactment of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), our association assumes the role of “Data Controller” and undertakes the necessary compliance efforts to safeguard your personal data.
Within the framework of this law, your personal data will be stored and processed by Temel İhtiyaç Derneği based on the consent you provided. Please note that your personal data may be used by us for promotional and informational communications, statistical data collection, and compilation, as well as for the improvement of donation campaigns.
In this context, you may exercise the following rights at any time by applying to our association, which is the Data Controller under Article 11 of the Law:
- Learning whether your personal data is being processed,
- Requesting information regarding the processed personal data if any,
- Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for this purpose,
- Knowing the third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
- Requesting correction of any inaccuracies in your personal data and, if such data are transferred, asking the relevant third party for this correction,
- Requesting the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data if the reasons requiring processing have ceased to exist, and asking for the transmission of this request to the relevant third party if applicable,
- Objecting to any negative consequences arising from the processing of data,
- Seeking compensation within the framework of the law in case of damages arising from unlawful data processing.
