Following the Elazığ Earthquake on January 24, 2020, non-governmental organizations collaborated to support disaster preparedness and response.
Aktivities :
An examination of the first 48 hours following the Elazığ earthquake was conducted by national and local non-governmental organizations, including AFAD, Turkish Red Crescent, and Elazığ Governorship. Following that, we discussed how we would collaborate, and the “Non-Governmental Organizations Disaster Coordination Platform” was formed. We support the methodical and regular delivery of donations sent in all catastrophes, as well as the provision of current needs we receive from the field, in collaboration with the organization of which we are co-founders, which has reduced its name to “Disaster Platform”.
