Support Cloud is a software that matches producer, wholesaler, and retailer companies that make in-kind donations to the Turkey Food Banking Network with member food banks, aiming to make food banking activities more efficient and faster with the advantages provided by technology.
The Support Cloud Platform is a web-based system established to match donating institutions with recipient food banks, soup kitchens, and animal shelters.
Once organizations become donors of TIDER, they log in to the platform with the username and password provided by TIDER. The organization files a donation inventory by defining their products that will be donated to the system along with information such as category, expiration date, quantity, location, and delivery date. In return, the food bank, which is included in the TIDER network and is also logged into the platform with a username and password, reviews the listed donations and reserves them if they are suitable the needs. After a suitable match, the operation begins, and the parties will receive relevant documents such as delivery notes and receipts through the Support Cloud Platform.
With this controllable and transparent system, we aim to reduce logistics costs and tackle waste in Turkey by improving logistical efficiency through location-based matching.
